A Huge Thank you! – Court update

The Committee would like to thank all who helped out last week after the bottom two courts were left damaged from the arrival of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It was a fantastic sight to see so many down to help in adversity!

Because of this quick response the committee was able to see the courts relayed and rolled by Euro Clay – A massive thank you to them for their swift work as matches were able to proceed the following week. This also extends to Pocklington Tennis Club who showed the local neighbourhood spirit in graciously allowing our Mixed 3rd team to play a fixture at their courts. Thank you to them for their hospitality.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the gentleman who was sadly in need of attention from the emergency services in the village.
