Race Night Cancelled 21/03/2020

After long conversations around the Racenight going ahead it has been decided that it will be cancelled for Saturday 21st March and rescheduled for the Autumn when, hopefully, the situation around Coronavirus will be a thing of the past.

We have tried to take a responsible approach to this situation, limiting all non essential travel/public events in hope of keeping ourselves, our vulnerable friends and relatives safe and in the best of  health possible. Hopefully you will all agree this is the best course of action at this difficult period.

If you had very kindly donated/pledged for the event in any capacity please consult the Committee member who you donated to, feel free to request a full refund, however if you are happy to we might suggest you keep the bets banked with them for the Autumn rescheduling. Thank you again for your support.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to the newly finished Wilberfoss Tennis Club website. After a long wait the page is finally on its way to being finished.

You can find any information regarding to the club on one of the many pages of the site. Some pages might be empty at the moment but will be filled in the coming weeks.

By the start of the season we plan to have a membership form uploaded for new and existing members to access and be able to fill in online and email to the club directly.

I hope this website becomes a part of the clubs everyday life and that all members enjoy using it in the future.

Promotion for Mens 1st Team!

The Wilberfoss Mens First Team, who finished a tight 3rd in Division 3 in the 2019 season have been awarded promotion to the 2nd Division! 6 months after the season finished!

After discussion with the league following a dropout from the second division it was decided that an extra team would move up from each division to fill the gaps left by the folding team in Division 2. Congratulations to team captain Charlie Dodds and the rest of the team on this news and good luck in the dizzy heights of Div 2 in the 2020 season!!
