Teams

Wilberfoss Tennis Club has 8 active adult teams; 2 Mens, 2 Ladies and 4 Mixed. For such a small village this is testament to the friendly and extremely social nature of our club. All our members are very keen to play and if we got the players to enter more teams into the leagues we would.

Ladies is played on a Saturday morning, Mens on a Sunday morning and mixed is played throughout the week depending on which team you play for.

The mixed and ladies teams get to enjoy lovely food served by Dougie and Allison at the Pavillion and you can always find both mens teams having a few drinks (hopefully celebratory ones) after matches.

As well as the social aspect, all our teams and members are very competitive and we enjoy a large amount of success. Most recently our 3rd mixed team were Champions of Division 9 of the York mixed league.
